Ms. Soave enjoys traveling to explore architecture, both modern and historic. As the 1998 John Worthington Ames Travel Scholar, Ms. Soave visited the world renowned Saint Francis Basilica in Assisi Italy, a designated UNESCO World Heritage site. During the post-earthquake reconstruction she learned the fundamental principles of restoration alongside talented professionals who were experimenting with the intervention of new technological applications on antiquated art and architecture. An enriching experience both personally and professionally shaped her appreciation for the architectural challenges of preservation and the importance of art and architecture in the shaping of a community’s social, cultural and political life. BellSoave Architects marries the knowledge of old world design and technologies with new design and technologies to bring smart craftsmanship to today's new homes and renovations.
